Good luck with your writing, Sandy, and glad to hear you have found some fantastic mentors. I am totally with you on taking the old-fashioned route, though it can be very slow and frustrating at times (probably why many people turn to self-publishing). Keep us posted on your progress!

Travel time is here again. Whether it’s for the purpose of jobs (I normally live in central US and I work in South Korea) or for visiting family, I’m usually on the road quite a bit. It’s quite tiring, really, but you do what you have to do.

I’m sort of similar to that, too – not too much has gotten my attention to reading, but when it does, I rip through it in binges. It’s the same with writing. I don’t write all that much, but when I do, it’s in binges that can spew out 25,000 words in a week or so.

How fabulous! If you are interested in a good writers’ forum where there is a collegiate atmosphere and very little ego (and great critiques), I can recommend Litopia. Just Google it or mail me and I’ll send you an invitation. I write in isolation here in Germany and it’s been a huge learning experience for me working amongst other writers.

That clean out was good fun actually. I definitely needed to shed some old tech stuff that I only had because I felt like “I might need it someday.” That’s why my dad has an office full of ancient computers, so I want to avoid that route at all costs.

Yes, I’ve seen those hazel eyes at work – absolutely deadly – or mushy depending on your wishes and whims; no wonder Ben caved in! ….miss you honey, but as usual you made me smile and laugh.
